Dana Fradkin

Dana discovered acting as a young adolescent when her strong dislike of her middle school drove her to Canterbury, the high school of Performing Arts, at the other end of Ottawa. Knowing nothing of drama, she strolled in with an eager mind and fell instantly in love. Although calculus has always been her number 1 talent, sitting in front of a desk all day doing long division just didn't get her blood boiling. So she committed herself whole heartedly to acting and has never looked back.

Dana is a graduate of George Brown Theatre School and since graduating her work has led her throughout Toronto, the United States and Europe. She has worked with such theatre companies as; the Canadian Opera Company, the Second City Toronto, Metaphysical Theatre, Convergence Theatre, Circus Sublime, Caravan Stage Company, Stage West Dinner Theatre, and Shakespeare in the Square. Her stylized comedy acts have been seen at many different festivals including; Canadian wide Busker Festivals, Luminato, the Fringe Festival, Renaissance Festival, and the Pirate Festival. Comedy troupes include; the Bad Dog Theatre, Men in Tights, ComedyWorks, Mysteriously Yours, her own Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Company; Comedic Catastrophes (www.comediccatastrophes.com), and of course the wonderful and exciting Canadian Improv Showcase!

Dana is also co-creator of the Theatre Company; Keystone Theatre, bringing the silent film genre to the stage, (www.keystonetheatre.net). As well as an actor and comedian, Dana is also a martial artist, stuntwoman, circus performer, and dancer. This one's for you Dad!
