Maria grew up in the east coast mining town of Sydney, Nova Scotia where being Greek was considered exotic and mysterious. After getting a Journalism degree in Ottawa and a brief stint as a non-French speaking Montrealer, Toronto became home.

Maria has an unhealthy obsession with toys and board games from her youth, especially all things Wonder Woman and Star Wars-related. In fact, she MAY have actually had two kids just to be able to keep a house full of toys without being questioned.

Maria began improvising in 2008 and has trained with The Impatient Theatre Company, Bad Dog Theatre and Flash Improv in Toronto and Annoyance Theatre in Chicago. Maria performs with Proxy Server, ITC Harold team Shiva Star and indie troupe Beauty School Dropouts. She is thrilled to be part of the cast of Canadian Improv Showcase!
