September 21, 2004

York Region’s premier improv troupe just got a little bit better. With their busy schedule and the ever changing winds of the entertainment industry, they have cast three new members to add to their already amazing group dynamic. After auditioning over 40 candidates the group chose some of Toronto’s most promising young talent.

Ashley Botting, a Second City student whose talent and whit will literally take you back. Her quickness and friendly smile will win you over in no time and her ability to surprise you when you least expect will leave you in stitches! An amazing young talent currently featured in “Tony & Tina’s Wedding” at the Second City, Toronto.

Troy Yorke, a fellow student of the Second City, Troy is a versatile talent not only acting with the group, but also offering his musical skills as well. Troy has been featured in many films and movies and is a true joy to watch perform. He is zany, off the wall and totally hilarious.

Erin Gamelin is a seasoned Toronto comedian working with her own, all female, sketch comedy group “Scrambled Leggs”. She’s fun, sexy and totally original. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Erin has a wide variety of talents including a fantastic array of contrasting characters.

These three fine talented individuals will surely add a new element to the already well defined group of talent that is the Canadian Improv Showcase. And they will certainly make their group debut soon.
